Stanford Medicine Sports Complex: Pleasanton RAGE played hard against Marin FC Sirens. The first half was even with both teams playing hard and getting scoring opportunities. Marin dominated the first 25 minutes, but RAGE recovered strong and pushed even harder for a goal in the second half. This performance earned them the win for their first home game of the 2025 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The RAGE played their first home game and second game of the season against Marin FC Sirens at Stanford Medicine Sports Complex.
- First shot of the game: Marin FC, saved on the ground by goalkeeper Sydney Head.
- First Corner of the game was at 42:00 for the Sirens. Number 23, Raya Leikin, took the shot. It was cleared from the middle by RAGE number 11, Madison Chavez. No shot.
- 15, Trinidad Quiroz, shot, baubled by Siren’s goalie. Corner kick RAGE
- Corner taken by 9 RAGE,Alejandra Melendez left side, shot taken by RAGE number 6, Eileen Xu, out of bounds.
- Quiroz (15) shot 35:45. Second shot, leading to RAGE’s second corner kick of the 1st half.
- Number 20, Natalie O’sullivan, to Melendez (9) short ball, then long to number 10, Maddie Benson, who headed the ball out of bounds.

- Corner 3 for Marin taken again by Leiken at 4:41.She passed a high ball, leading to a scramble in the box. The ball got passed out to Kalli Cho (6), who vaulted it over the goal.

- Marin FC had a shot by number 23, Raya Leikin, who kicked a high arching ball across her body towards the goal. It was snatched out of the air by Head, who had to rush back to position to make the save.
First half: The ball tended to stay in the middle of the field as the teams battled for possession. In the first 25 minutes, Marin FC dominated possession, but most shots/opportunities were RAGE. In the last 20 minutes of the half, Pleasanton RAGE regained control and started to win one-on-one to get more possession/shooting opportunities.

- GOAL RAGE scored by number 6, Eileen Xu at 34:56. Assisted by number 14, Amaya Cabreles. 1-0 RAGE
- Corner kick RAGE, their 6th. Number 6, Xu, takes it at 16:46. Her shot was a bouncy ball that was cleared by Marin FC defense.

- Number 23 for the RAGE, Kamryn Rosa, took a shot from behind a defender that went just left of the goal at 6:09.
- RAGE played a tight defense for the last 5 minutes, keeping the ball out of their box and stopping Siren’s opportunities before they could fully develop.
Second Half: RAGE came out strong pushing the ball into the Siren’s defensive zone. They have been getting the majority of the opportunities. RAGE had won the one-on-ones and had amazing passing sequences that kept putting pressure on Siren goalie, Dahlia Scanton.
